The conference takes place on Thursday 18th and Friday 19th September 2014, and is open to the general public as well as to those with a professional academic interest in Derek Mahon’s work.
The conference fee is £35 per day. Students and unwaged delegates pay a concessionary rate of £25 per day. This includes access to all conference talks and papers, plus lunch and refreshments.
In addition, there will be a four-course conference dinner with wine at the end of each day, to which all delegates are invited, for an additional £22 per dinner (£15 concessions).
B&B accommodation at St John’s College can also be arranged for those travelling into Durham.
If you are interested in attending, please contact the conference convenor Paul Batchelor (paul.batchelor@durham.ac.uk) to discuss your requirements and reserve your place.
